Doodle: Embrace my childhood. Embrace my curiosity

Doodle: Embrace my childhood. Embrace my curiosity.

When I was little, I couldn't concentrate. I kept looking around and looking for something new. :D What a trouble maker.

Short Film- Shape of Day

Indiegogo campaign Shape of Day is now LIVE!!! Please support us by clicking  HERE

Bosco Kim, the director, has been working on this project with all his effort and time. Please help us to make this happen!

Shape of Day is a short film inspired by a true event happened in Pakistan. It is about humanity, prejudice, and judgement among people. The story starts with a plastic surgeon’s ignorance to a car accident that happened near his office. He refused to help the homeless looking driver’s humanitarian act to save a young girl in the accident. It turns out that the young girl is the doctor’s only daughter. However, this is not the ending...

Below are the storyboards I did for this short film:

He is extremely nice and supportive and encouraging to the young artists. Peter has worked on Ice Age 1,2, 3 and Treasure Planet. His works are amazing! You guys should definitely check his works!:D

Color and Story Final

Graphic Novel - The killer by Ed White

This is the very first graphic novel assignment I did recently. The reference story is "The Killer" by Edward White. What makes this novel interesting is the richness of visual descriptions. I only illustrated a very small part of it. Plus, I replaced all the characters with animals faces. This idea is inspired from another amazing graphic novel "Blacksad"!!

Graphic Design for Entertainment with Paul Rogers

This is an amazing class which I love the most. The above layout designs are inspired from 1960's movie Ocean 11 where the story happened in Las Vegas. We were asked to design two street scenes and one poster for Sam Harmon (Played by Dean Martin). What made this project difficult to me was the historical aspect. I had no idea how everything looked like in the 60s. Therefore, I spent my first two weeks just to research Las Vegas in the 60s. I finally designed one epic hotel called Corleone Hotel. If you remember, the Corleone family in Godfather bought hotels in Vegas!! Yeah! I knew this through research. The second is a ghetto cheap motel in downtown Las Vegas. These two layouts were purposely designed in two different time and settings to show the two opposite sides of Las Vegas. I love this class.
